What kind of a job must one have to be able to own a boat like this.

I have no idea....which is why I took the photo. If it's any help this fellow was in a channel leading from the Gulf of Mexico into Tampa Bay, Florida.

Being elevated gives a better view down into the water. That helps if you are for example looking for baitfish that are just under the surface. Plus, everyone doing that wears polarized sunglasses.
