Well I'm at a little crossroads where later in the day I might say buh bye to my 24-70 in order to pick up a 70-200mm 2.8 L IS.

I need the 70-200 for a few things, part of me doesn't want to give up the 24-70 but what do you think. Is it worth the swap? Would you part with the Brickster for 70-200 if it came around to you?

Two completely different lenses. I would keep both.

Why do you have 2 16-35's ?

Sell the MK1.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

Absolutely they are,FL and DOF,but I cant do both, Its one or the other (in that particular instance)

As far as the 16-35 MK1, prior to getting insurance, I've had the insecurity of anything happening to my 16mK2 since I dropped a large chunk on it when I bought it, so basically I've picked up a classic to use in the harsh environment where I work at sometimes and didn't mind if anything happens to it,but someone is picking up my 16-35 locally this weekend, that sale will justify the expense I just put out for a new 50mm L,which I'm waiting for the UPS dude to drop off today.

I'd do it. But then again, I've been lusting after the 70-200 f/2.8L IS for months. :P
