It was nice to finally see a Shrike low enough in the trees to get a good look at.

Love the first shot especially the fence on the diagonal the tones of the fence pick up the tones in the bird. Nicely done.

Great shots, I really like the "natural habitat" look in the second and third shots. They are amazing for being handheld

Pretty and detailed shots of the "butcher bird", the puffed up look on the branch is exceptional... I usually see him a few times in the winter, but so far only once for a long distance... My chickadees and RBs fear this guy more than any other predator... great shooting Scott.
