I just got back from a long stretch of flying. Here are the three best photos from my latest trip.

This is a CRJ 200 getting pushed back in Philly. I saw this scene while walking through the terminal. Unfortunatly I didn't have time to get outside so I had to shoot this one through dirty glass. I did a lot of photoshop tweeking. What do you think? Does it pass?

This is a close up of the landing gear assembly of the CRJ 200. I took this picture while waiting on a ground stop into philly. If you ever see a pilot walking around taking close ups of aircraft parts it's probably me and I am probably bored.

This last one is a thunderhead parked over top of Charlotte Douglas Airport. I took this one while in a holding pattern. One lone thunderhead can put us late for an entire afternoon.

Let me know what you think.

Dave,

always nice to see your shots. The clouds one is great, it even looks menacing.

Thanks all.

Felix,

I've been flying for 13 years if I count back to the day took my first lesson. I've had an airline flying job for six years. It's a cool job most of the time.

Chris,

Glad you like seeing my photos. Next month I actually have a set schedule and I'm no longer on call. This means I'll have more chances to take flying pictures. Look for more posts in July. If I'm lucky, it will be a stormy month. I have a plan for a photo that requires a well lit storm cloud off the left side of the plane.

Photosguy,

Glad you liked the first one. I was hoping it wan't too photoshopped for displaying in my gallery. Thanks for the input.
