Well it was a Fish once

Ran into this fish skeleton at Bunche Beach near Ft. Myers FL
this week. Late in the afternoon. I never touched it it was sitting
as photographed.

I don't exactly know what to call it, but the texture is interesting I think.

unfortunately, I've seen one floating upside down, in my tank.

I'd call it hungry.
