I've been a member here for a little over a year and a half now and as you can see by my enormous post count I'm somewhat of a lurker. I've mainly used the board as a source of information and (when I rarely find myself with extra money) to find gear. I have recently moved out to Hurricane UT from Denver. Even though I have a decent amount of shots from CO I thought it fitting to post these as they are what I have been up to lately with the exception of one or two older ones. They are all in Zion National Park(#4 is in Kolob Terrace) as this is where I do much of my shooting. I plan to post much more in the future and hope you enjoy some of these, if not CC is welcome.

Thanks,
-John

Nice series - #s 2 and 4 are my faves, with #2 taking the cake... beautiful composition there, and wonderful light.

Beautiful images, you need to post more! I don't do landscapes but I sure enjoy seeing them. You have a good eye for composition and light. Well done!

Thank you all for the comments, it is much appreciated. I will do my best to keep up with posting in the future.

Kurt, thanks for the welcome to the area, I definitely miss Colorado but the scenery here does make it easier. There seem to be photo opps everywhere I look.

Beautiful series. Zion is a magical place and you captured it well.

Very good series. I think that is a great place to live, allowing you opportunities to see the wonders of nature in a variety of circumstances. If you are physically able, you must become a "canyoneer" to see all that's available in your new area. I wish I had when I was younger.
