I think Nikon keeps them. Then use them again fr big game events.

Nikon have been lending gear to accredited photographers for decades at international sporting events,,nothing new.. From the '70s into the '90s Nikon had the largest slice of the professional pie and endevoured to keep their pro shooters happy..

Are you saying Canon does not do this? That is really sad they have not done the same as Nikon.....
