I let out the dogs (Ritual, even though wife is home) and this Nuthatch was feeding on the suet cake... It was startled by the dogs and crept up the tree a bit and just stood there for at least a minute or more watching the dogs.... I was ready....  This one taken last weekend with a bit of sunlight on the same tree earlier in the day...  New Hampshire State Bird: Purple Finch

DuaneN Cream of the Crop  More info | Two great images Norman. I like the catchlight in the eye of the second one but the more "natural" perch of the first one. Exposures and sharpness look great.
