This was a pic that I was never totally happy with the processing at first. At the time, I wasn't really experimenting too much with pp techniques. I think the new version is a little better.

1st Attempt:

I think the contrast of 2 is better, but the colors of 1 are better. I would prefer the girl to not be cut in half. Nice shot, though.

I wish the girl wasn't cut in half either. This was one of those scenes I just walked up on, and had to quickly react. There's actually someone directly to the left of her; almost leaning against her. And they were facing towards me. It might've been cool if they were both looking out. But then again, there was a 3rd person in their party who was on the rock. So that could've messed things up too. Oh well.

Did you make it over to Orient Beach? :) Wife and I are planning on vacationing at Club Orient.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

I like the color and contrast in the second but the second has a very yellow green cast on it.

Agree...the 1st looks like the blacks are over done quite a bit and the contrast is high. The sky and water look good.

I didn't make it to any of the nicer beaches there. We only shortly visited a small one that was close to the cruise ship.
