Ah, that is one of those fake ducks. I hybrid domestic duck thing.

Witout pictures of there parents you'll never know. But the chances are good there's a Mallard in the mix.

Thanks guys, these were taken in Newfoundland if thats any help. I thought Juvie Mallard at first now I'm not so sure.

If they are the same size as a Mallard then it is probably a Black Duck / Mallard cross. If it is a lot larger then it is more likely a Domestic Mallard.
