Couple shots from the Nuclear Cowboyz event at the Georgia Dome. I took 450 shots, so there's more if anyone wants to see. Unfortunately it was so damn dark in there and they wouldn't allow a lens longer than my 24-105 that there aren't many that are sharp.

Had better luck at a stadium where no one cared about the lens, and used a 70-300 IS USM. Cranked the ISO up to 2500 and used Noiseware to beat back the noise.

shame they only let you take the 24-105, looks like there woulda been some good stuff if you coulda brought something with longer reach.

Yeah, those are way better than mine. This was my first real attempt at catching fast motion in a horribly "lit" environment.

Honestly, I probably could have gotten in with a longer lens, but I had read the policies online and it said no camera/lens combo longer than 10". When I got up there the guys at the gate didn't even look inside my bag. They didn't care at all.

Edit: Holy crap! I was using Dfine LR plug-in before, but decided to try Noiseware and can't believe the difference! I'll post a few other shots.

Here's a few more after Noiseware. Can't believe the difference.

I'm jealous, I wasn't able to make it out to this. Great shots for the horrible lighting in that dome.

The 2nd set look pretty good for those conditions. Think about putting a bunch of pics into one poster. That was my solution to crappy, noisy, v-ball pics taken in available darkness. ;)
