I have been walking 3 miles almost every day, back towards the mountains. Here are two pictures from this morning (June 30). The first shows the first and second Flatirons behind Boulder. The second is again the southern end of Green Mt., with a patch of yellow flowers in the foreground. What makes this picture attractive to me are the parallel lines of the near and far terrain, sloping up from center to the right, and down to center on the left. Canon S500, some minor processing in Picture Window Pro.

Nice job Harold on both the pic and the hiking! I love that Flatirons area. I've got to get up there and take some pics if I can ever get a weekend free of Softball. :)

Harold, I'm impressed by the hiking regimen. The photos are good, too.

Thanks, Kenny and Stan. I am blessed to live within walking distance of Boulder Open Space, NCAR (who encourage hiking on their land), and a bit of Dept. of Commerce land, which is also open to hikers. There are lots of trails, including the 7 mile trail from Chattaqua to Eldorado Springs.

Nice! Reminds me of when I used to live there. :)
