This was my first shot taken with my new Canon 5D Mark II and this is my first ever upload I hope it will load accurately. Still learning how to do the computer side of photography. Bear with me. Used EF240105mm f/4L for one shot and used EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro for the other. First two shots out of the box.

Oooh I like the DOF in #1 - your little guy or gal? What did you have before the 5DII? How do you like the 100?

Your post looks just fine, you can add copyright with something like picture shark - easy

Photographs - unrepeatable - unforgettable...
Trying to learn something new every day
Canon XTI & XSI, Sigma 150 2.8 Macro
Canon 16-35 f2.8 L II USM - Canon 300 f4 L IS USM

Hi Paul her name is Angel. I am crossing over from a regular panasonic digital so this is a huge step up...so much to learn with this new camera. I love this camera and the 100 lens is fantastic the only limitation is my lack of know how :) How do I add a copyright? Is it a photoshop thing?

You can photoshop it in, but for simplicity I like "picture shark", free off the web (google it), it's easy to use to add copyrights.

Wow a big step forward, welcome to the long learning curve - I'm on that ride myself, it's fun because you have to practice practice practice :-) I have the Sigma 150 macro, it's terrific.

Well she's a cutie and looks very smart.

I just posted a couple of dog pic under the golden retrievers post, last page - check them out.

We spoil her lots! But I have always noticed the wistfulness about her and wanted to capture it. Thanks for the comment.

Great looking Eski... I have one along with three bloodhounds! Which shot was taken with the 100L? The first I suspect.

Thanks for posting your eski. We had one for 16 yrs. and really miss her. They are one of the best dogs to have.

treats works well for that...but American Eskimos are quite shy at times my dog is 12 years old.
