yes... I used to work in assembly for Vltor. It was me and about 5 other guys... It was great fun... I will hopefully be getting the red dot that they have developed soon as well as a suppressor. Most of what was produced for the ar15 by vltor is on this particular gun.

Very nice! Kino and Eric have always been great guys to deal with, the 2009 and 2010 Vltor covers are ones I shot for them.

I need to get ahold of the FAL rail for an upcoming project.

We need a general firearms thread for everyone to post their firearm and related images. One thread, no text, just images.... the idea is sound, but I think there are a batch of liberals here who would be unable to throw in their 2 cents (as usual with firearm threads).

Thats wicked man... What a small world. That's a good (and maybe a little odd) thing you found them pleasant to work with haha. No but seriously, I agree, a firearms section would be nice... I'm a pretty liberal guy by most standards. BUT, I do enjoy my firearms.

There is no question that working for someone and working with them are two very different experiences. The firearm community has a strange group of fellows in it.

Start a thread with your Vltor blaster in it!

Ahh... That proves it! You are a photographer, and we've found the smoking gun! :-)

Seriously, those are some nice shots, and the smoke definitely adds to the mystique and sense of "fire" in firearms.

Very nice. I like the smoke for the additional atmosphere.

It would be nice if common sense would rear it's ugly head here some day - I'd love to get a suppressor (or three).

Here I am putting it to work this weekend at a three day carbine class.

And a shot of me with a boring HK 416 machine gun. :)

I find it weird that I can go onto any online auction site, or go into any gun store, with the lowest form of firearms license available here (which I might add, is possible to get at 16) and buy a silencer for any gun with no issue, yet we can't have any extended magazines (anything above 10 for centrefire I think, could be less), pistols require a special endorsement and can only be fired at approved pistol ranges. Strange huh?

I dig the photo's, though all that extra smoke on the first pistol one ruins it for me, just the bit sneaking out of the barrel like on the second pistol one is good.

One cool thing about living in Louisiana is they let us buy some cool guns. I had some free time this evening so made these pics of a few of my toys. Let me know what you think!

I shoot in Baton Rouge at Precision indoor range or at Sherburne outdoor range.
