Wrestling 11-12 year old.

I tried to take some wrestling pictures today. 7D with 85/ 1.8

This was my first time taking wrestling pictures. Let me know what you think.

Not bad at all for a 1st attempt. You have a good combo for capturing the intensity of wrestling. I might add it would be worth the purchase to invest in a 70-200 f/2.8 for when the action is on the other side of the mat. Good job regardless.
Two small nitpicks.
1. Appears to be a little soft or oof but I would attribute that to using the lens wide open with no in-camera or PS post-processing if thats the case.
2. Come on you gotta make those Millard South colors POP if you're going to do the pictures justice when posting them. LOL, I couldn't help but notice the MS vs MW uniforms. My son wrestled against those schools when he was in H.S.
3. Good luck to your H.S. @ State this weekend.

I can see what you are saying about the color, I did them again adding some more color to them.

as for the 70-200 2.8..... that is my next lens, not sure what I am waiting for but I just need to order it.

and yes good luck to them at state. I am just the picture man, he is my nephew.
