The casino is further on from there.
That was taken from the princes bridge looking down across flinders street station.
I didn't have a tripod with me so used the wall as a base and set the camera on a 4 sec exposure.
I plan to take a few pics from the casino end when all the gas burners are firing.
I reckon that sort of shot would be awesome.
I do have a few shots taken with a sony digicam but it is way too grainy.

I really like that picture, did you use the cameras internal light meter to take that shot? Or did you use a handheld light meter?

The exposure looks like it came out right on the money.

I took it straight from the camara's internal metering then played with the shutter speeds by bracketing the shots.
This was the best of 3.
I don't really believe in hand metering etc as I tend to rely on instinct when taking night shots.
Whatever the camera say then bracket.
(never could do that with film often as it would be an expensive proposition.)

Wow, that's an amzingly awesome shot! Can you share your secret to taking that type of photo? Or is it classified? lol. I have been trying to take a shot like that for a long time, but it just doesn't seem to work for me. But overall, just WOW!
