Hello,

Just did a shoot yesterday for a friend from work. Just looking to get better, so any input? Please be easy.

Pretty nice but need to work on separating them from the background on the darker backgrounds the second photo looks like the boy has no arms. I would crop the last one tighter it is not good to cut off just a portion of his feet.

Overall these are good. The lighting is nice in most of them and the posing is generally good. There are some cropping and separation issues and you might be losing detail in the blacks.

A couple of things I suggest is to iron the backdrop to get the wrinkles out, ask that the subjects not wear black (if that is an option) and either add a rim/hair light or don't use a black background.
