It was Valetine's day and everyone at the Bronx Zoo wanted to look their best before heading out.

I can understand your view. A good portion of my photos had to be shot with some discretion or needed to be later cropped from the waist up, due to a “heightened” level of excitement the males were exhibiting at the time (which is probably ALL the time). The bare chest patch on the Gelada baboon isn’t the only bright spot, if you take my meaning.

Baboons are pretty well held in contempt in Kenya by the locals. Locals said they are worse than rats
