The variations of compact flash cards are simply the speed at which they can be written by the camera's system, and the speed that they can transfer from card to computer. ______________

What is the value of your comment. Most cars go much faster than the speed limits alllow but it doesn't stop people buying them! How will the OP know that they aren't getting full potential from the card. Maybe in a years time the OP will upgrade the body and see the benefits. ______________

Maybe in a years time the OP will upgrade the body and see the benefits. The OP will see their files transfer to the computer at a reasonable rate and that matters most. Maybe you need to grow up and learn to rationalise before you express yourself. And maybe you're patient and courteous enough to leave all maybe's and assumptions to the OP to make. _______________

Not sure what seemed to make you angry. He was just pointing out that the slow write speeds of the 5d dont require a card that fast. Play nice
