Hi,

Im looking at taking interior scene shots of my interior design projects and also for pleasure I will take it hiking and shot landscapes, so it must be light and as small as possible. Might want to make a panorama and stich.

Oh and not break the bank!

Any tips?

well I dont have any idea what these things cost. I will buy a 350D and a 10-22 Lens. After that I dont want to spend more than say $150 - but is that doable or am I wishing.....

Bogen 3021Pro w/ Bogen Compact Ball w/ or w/o RC under $200. Strong and versital. If you want lighter then Feisol 3402 Carbon Fiber w/ same head under $300. You can find Feisol at this site under photo equipment:http://www.thresholdconcepts.com/specials.htm (external link)

Feisol. Look it up. They sell direct and on ebay. Everyone who has one likes it. I got one to replace my Bogen 3221. It's great.

My suggestion would be the Bogen 3021BPRO and the 488RC2 ball head with separate panning control. Extremely versatile and not overly expensive. Here's B&H's page for this combination: http://www.bhphotovideo.com …EG&addedTroughType=search (external link)

Another vote for the Bogen 3021. I have a 3029 pan-tilt head on mine right now, but I plan on getting the 488RC2 ball head as well.

You might want to check out Amvona. A nice Amvona (IMHO) can be found between $100 ~$150. I just ordered one, will be here next week. I will write up a mini review of performance. www.amvona.com (external link)

Check the pro tripod http://www.amvona.com …f73d9d7e940440e867abba4d0 (external link)

Man, I bought a Quantaray one day when I was in a pinch and it's all I could find and it's actually not that bad! It's light, sturdy and the head is smooth enough and easy to work with. I would never own one of their lenses, but for the hobbyist/part time photographer their tripods are OK! I think it was around $60.

Threshold is faster they are located in CA. I ordered the Feisol 3301 on monday and got it on Thursday. I was impressed with the quality when I received it. It felt like the Manfrotto CarbonOne. I recommend it. Right now Its free shipping from ThresholdConcept.com.
