I took these shots today, I'm fairly happy with the results. I would have preferred to take these from the center of the road, however with pretty good traffic, I didnt care to risk my life for a few photos!

Converting them to black and white hasnt yeilded results Im happy with, Anyone care to take a crack at it and post what they did?

Thanks!

Thanks!

I don't know why but the last one grabs me. Maybe it's because it leads tht eye, the rich blue sky, and the contrasting grass on the right. I think it's be better in color. My fav B&W is with calcuations, red and green channel mixed with overlay. Attached.

A bit "plain," interesting though. I like the last one best, but I'd like to see a fluffy cloud or two in the sky or a "hot" car approaching :)

a nice car would be nice, but traffic wouldnt allow it (took me the better part of 20mins to take 25 shots)

I'll give it another go this weekend, when theres no traffic.

Tim, Looks good, my problem with a B/W conversion in this is the bottom right gets blown out, but if I keep the right looking good, everything else is either too dark, or to washed out.
