What are the tripod heads called what move in any position?saw someone using one.thinking about one for big lense.thanks

And you only need the answer once - but if it makes you feel any better, they're called ball heads.

I have only just seen the topic but I will answer it as well - ballheads.

Oh btw this is one of the best forums i know for getting answers on. You sometimes have to wait a while as people here are all over the world and it occasionally takes time for people to pick up on a topic.
