I had one posted a really nice 2008 Honda Accord EXL with less than 20,000 miles for $10K. This person indicated that she was a divorcee, and she was awarded the car after the settlement. She does not know how to drive so she needs to sell the car, which just happen to be in Canada. She even provide the VIN number to me. A quick search reveals the car belongs to a dealer in New Jersey. I contacted the dealer, and they said they have the car in the lot. I then forward the dealer the e-mail this scammer sent me, and they are looking nto it.

Oh - and he would pay me $200 over my asking price. When I replied I would be happy to meet and do a local sale, he gave me a lecture about how easy paypal or money orders were and why couldn't I just ship....

About three weeks ago I had an account holder wire $3000 to England for a 2005 Caddilac. We did everything we could, short of refusing service, to keep him from sending the money. If I find the ad spread all over the place, I know it is a hoax. You can put the ad text in quotes so you only search for that exact text.
