I went out with a rented EF 400mm f/5.6L on my 1D2N and caught some mallards and a red-tailed hawk. All handheld at f/5.6. As always C&C is always welcome and appreciated.

Well until today anyway. The hawk was still far enough away that the images are center cropped and he did fly off again but not before I got him. Steve
