^^ Mike, is that with a 10-stop?

Nope. I was on a tripod and took 4 shots, all within a 2 min time span to later stitch them together using the statistics mode in PS. This helps to remove people when you are in crowded places.

I put them together and I think I did it wrong, but I liked the way it came out :)

That Merc is a beautiful thing, too bad if I could afford it I still would not fit in it. Too tall and too broad. The too round part I am working on lol.

So true.
Love them unconditionally.
Must be half a million grand or plus and if you have the matching luggage's, then the price is probably double of whatever it was.

But now that seems we have many mechanicians also as or among the photographers, let me ask this question.

Is it really that hard for manufactures to create a totally curve body without ugly side moldings and lines? Will this kind of body, stand the test of time? Of course not in a time capsule.

^Well IMO it comes down to what is possible and what is produceable. A manufacturer (esp. with today's materials, machinery and technologies) can do anything - just about - that the mind can imagine. Go to an international-caliber car show (Geneva, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Detroit...) and you'll see those incredible concept cars. That's what's possible. But 3, 5 years down the road and you see the actual production cars, that's what the accountants and executives have decided is produceable and marketable. Night and day.

The car above came from a different era when the chief of the company saw the design and if he liked it, said "build it". Those days are gone so yes, these cars have and will stand the test of time.

Man, isn't THAT the truth! ; D

...and to think; they used to be considered the poor cousins, (well, maybe by Chev and Ford owners, anyway)...

Nothing as photogenic as a 60's-70's MOPAR Muscle Car...the colours alone...
