I have to agree about a lot of these.

FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
Classic Carz, Racing, Air Show, Flowers.
Find the light... A few Car Lighting Tips, and MOVE YOUR FEET!

I also don't disagree that a lot of the shots are snap shots. Even my last i would consider one. This is just an active section of the forum lol

Technically your (my) best now may not be my best compared to shots later...if that makes sense.

I get what you're saying.. But taking a snap shot photo of a car at a car show with poor composition, editing and lighting is far from an actual photoshoot at a specific location and actually trying to get proper composition, exposure, lighting, etc.

That's me out then - I don't do ' actual ' photo shoots of cars Just at Car and Coffee type meets....

Which I actually find more challenging to get a ' good ' shot because you can't choose the location, the angle, the way the wheels are turned, the people wandering around which can add to the photo, the direction of the light.....

There is a difference though, I do agree there, to snap shot phone photos of something in the street.

Yes, but that was back when everyone thought the oil would flow forever, at ridiculously low prices too (at least in the US, anyway)...
