Curb-feelers will touch the curb before your tire/wheel does. Listen for the the scraping noise. In Japan you might see cars with parking 'poles' to assist in a similar fashion.

I worked briefly for a guy that owned a late model DS - they're mesmerizing. The steering wheel is art, and the wonky suspension is fascinating.

Is that an Auburn below it?

Those old cars are tough, lol. I can pick a Cord out of a lineup, but most kinda-sorta look the same to me. :D

I was walking back to the car to put my camera away and I liked the lighting so I took a quick snap, just wish the car wasn't filthy from the drive up to the track.
