Any more pics of the wagon?? I spy S4 seats.

Yes! Just not edited yet. Euro RS4 seats. That car is gorgeous.

personal opinion: the sky is more eye catching than the car.

I agree, and honestly what I was going for - I saw that sky and the car became secondary. Still had concerns about them competing, but I couldn't resist bringing that sky out.

If its for a real job shoot for an Audi advertise, ok..

But most of the time i see people complain about the backgrounds. Now the background is killer and i hear people complaining its too prominent.

Im not pointing my finger at you by my statement in saying that a lot of people in this thread are very hard to please, but there is generally very few positive comments to a lot of fantastic pics here. Its not like that for example in the Sony A7x lounge thread.

Just saying, because i find that R8 shot is amazing!

Thanks!

Actually, the light on the car doesn't look that bad to me. It's just that there's so much going on in that shot & the car is a small part of it, so it doesn't stand out very much. What I'd call "A landscape with a car in it."
The highlights could be cleaner. Still, it might not look bad as a large print on a wall.

Appreciate the comments! "A landscape with a car in it" was what I wanted to go for.

Can you elaborate on the highlights?

Reflections of the trees in the window & side. Nitpicky, but reflections of the clouds in the hood.

Ah ok, agreed. I was using a CPL - do you think I could've had it better rotated?

I really don't like that pattern I got on the side window - I couldn't seem to avoid it.

You just have to watch while you rotate it & pick the best result.
I seldom use a CPL for cars because when you gain in one area, you usually lose in another. I suppose you could take two shots & combine them with a layer mask.

I'm the same. I usually just live with how it is and go without a CPL for that exact reason!!

I found this gem in my neighborhood. I'm too young to know what kind of Ford it is though.
