While out on a drive today that was intended to be a photo outing that wound up being just burning gas wandering the backroads. The pool of light between these two overpasses warranted a u-turn.

This is, I'm pretty sure, the very first photo I ever printed from the very first roll of film I ever developed. I'm gonna' guess the year was 1976.

This was my Dad's 1973 Ford F100 Ranger. I can't remember if I printed this in my brother's basement darkroom or in the dark room at my high school, but I'm pretty sure it was the latter.

My brother found this photo while going through some boxes of Dad's old stuff and gave it to me, so I thought I'd scan it and post it here.

This would've been taken with my old Canon TLb and some garbage glass (hey, a 14 year old kid can only afford so much!):
