Here is one of my Mercedes taken on one of the few days it was actually sunny here. Found the top one of the local parking garages had a perfect view of the top of our courthouse which made for an interesting background.

Those are very cool cars. From the vented disc brakes, I'm guessing this is one of the Superformance GT-40 MkII "tribute cars". I've seen a few around and they're really something.

Yeah, old, new re issue, tribute, they're all beautiful

You don't see Jensen Interceptors every day, especially not in North America.

That is correct, the car was being displayed by the builder. This is the car on their web site. They make some cool cars!!!

No you don't. Funny when I went to this same show in 2017, I saw this one.

That's a magnificent example Ed
I drooled over those as a young fella. Stuff of dreams. Best of British with a huge American donk. :-)

Looking at that it still has appeal to me after all those years

Next to it (the above photo from 2017) is a Jensen Healey. I saw one also last Saturday. When I worked in Los Angeles in the early '80's one of my bosses had a JH as a daily driver. She loved it. It could be temperamental though. So could she, as a matter of fact. :-P

Ed

This is the one I saw last Saturday.

Indeed.

A couple of years back I was on the freeway in So Cal, and I approached a beautiful Cobra, looked brand-spanking new so I knew it was a replica - but a very nice one (plus, not many owners of the real thing would dare to drive these super-rare and $$$$$$$ cars on the I-5 freeway in daily traffic).

Anyway, as I drove by I noticed the car had custom plates that read "REAL2ME"...in answer to the question they must get every day. :-)

I'm mainly here for the snacks

I can't get over this edit... My eyes want me to believe it was a really dark/stormy day, but my brain knows it's an edit. I love it!

I used to see a lot of these in the 70's, growing up in North Wales; a guy down the road from us had a white one...

A shot from a Bring A Trailer shoot, the exhaust was quite impressive.

New Lightroom feature select subject. Then reverse and darken. Wanted to emphasize subject and not cluttered bg.. thx.
