While it dosen't compare to all of the great shots here this is probably my best. This was my first car and was a gift from my grandfather. He died a few months before I got my license so he never got to see me drive it. I vowed that I would never sell it and it still sits in the garage today.

Good start on it. The gray area around the back window wouldn't be that evenly lit, would it? And that line of squares just to the right of the body going out into the distanceis a little too eye catching.

Took a lot of pictures at an auto show this weekend.

Thanks for the feedback. The area around the back window wasn't changed. I possibly could have put a gray layer over the front window to darken it a bit, but I didn't do anything to light the interior either when shooting or in PP.

And I see what you mean about the blocks on the right side. I had never really focused on that but now that you've mentioned it, it stands out like a sore thumb. I'll have to watch that if I use that checkerboard pattern for a base or background in the future.

OK, it wasn't changed, but it just doesn't look "right" to me. So even if it isn't "right", I think I'd use a dark-to-slightly lighter gradient to darken it from the area near the top to the bottom.

I do a lot of car portraits for clients and while this may not be my 'best' it certainly is one of the better ones. All of the cars in my 'portraits' were shot at cruise-in sites or car shows.
