So I was going through my rejected photos in Lightroom, and I came across a photo that I thought might have potential with a little bit of work. The original shot was taken out of the blue, because I wanted to test out my new wireless triggers and umbrella bracket. At the time I didn't even have a light stand, so this shot was caught in a random act. Now, I'm not sure if I over processed the final image, but my goal was to hide some blemishes, get rid of the harsh shadows on her face, and clean up her hair. Please let me know what needs to be improved. I'm still learning as I go. Thanks!

Great edit from what you were working with.
Is that some hair still by her hand?

Her hair edges, mostly the left side, looks a bit processed, with those brush marks going in and out. See if you can make the edge "sharper" and straighter.

are you referring to her left or camera left? I did notice the softness on her left while I was touching it up. It started to get really messy in that area. I'll see what I can do.

Thanks.

gotcha! thanks. I think both sides might be too smudgy. I'll give it another shot.
