I was just curious about this. We've probably all seen the videos of the photographers being harassed/attacked by people, security, law enforcement, etc. for taking photos of something that is a "terrorist target" or for whatever reason. I was wondering how people used audio/video recording devices when they are out shooting. If so, what do you use?

I was looking to get something that I can easily hang around my neck.

Can I take your picture? "I'll swallow your soul!" Well, my camera will at least.

I have a kodak zi6 that I keep close at hand for anything that catches my interest.
I find that alot of people will act different when they know they are being taped so i hide it if i can.

flip is good as well

I'll have to check out the FLIP. That looks like that might work, except I'd have to check to see how I could hang that around my neck.

Anybody else record themselves while out shooting?

Every once in awhile I would have a camcorder running in the background during photo shoots but never when just "out shooting". The FLIP or Kodak Playsport should be easy to carry around for what you want.
