Anybody curently own both of these lenses? If so, what are your thoughts (pros and cons). Looking to purchase one of these as my next purchase for a 20D. Looking to use as a travel lens.

Another good choice is the 24-105L ... I used that on my Rebel series cameras for quite some time. | Canon EOS 5D Mark II w/ BG-E6| Canon G11 | Canon 24-70 f/2.8L | Σ 50 f/1.4

I think with a 28mm (tamron 28-75) I would find that too long on crop. Sony A6000, 16-50PZ, 55-210, 35mm 1.8 OSS

Think of it as a Canon 17-55 f2.8 IS without the IS, and construction quality of and L. Body: Canon 5Dc, (Coming soon <<<6Dc, maybe I shall wait for 6Diic with TouchScreen!).
