Believe it or not, this is a daily driver. I've seen this car several times parked at our favorite breakfast restaurant, and also driving around town. We were having breakfast on Tuesday when he pulled in, so I asked him if he would object to me taking a couple snaps. He said it would be okay, so I took a bunch of shots. In talking to him later, I learned that he actually has three of these. This one is his daily driver, and his tow car for the other two. He runs them in vintage races.

That's actually pretty cool. My dad used to use his 68 Charger R/T (Hemi/Torqueflight) to tow his 68 Super Bee to the track...would run them both in separate classes.

Thanks for sharing Belmondo.

I just can't imagine putting bumper stickers on a car like that. ;)

If I had a car like that I would want to drive it everyday too!

Nice pics! I salute the owner for driving his car. Most of these don't see much road time if any at all. If ya can't drive it, all you have is an end table.

I really need to learn to read more slowly. Could have sworn it said Martha Stewart on the side.

How do they race this if it won't turn left? ;) Nice find Tom...

Funny you should mention that, Jay. I had to look twice myself.

I live in a VERY Republican area. Nobody has taken of their McCain stickers yet. (sore losers).

I learned that he actually has three of these.

Nice! I've seen a lot of Superbirds, but not any Charger Daytonas. Are they original, or did he make them from parts?

I honestly don't know for sure, although I suspect they are original. He spoke as if they were, but I didn't really quiz him.

At about $300,000 each (external link), that's a pricey tow car & he's got a much bigger pair than I do! :D
