hope its a fake, he should be slapped, maimed, or shot for putting a bumper sticker on it if its real

Two minutes with a bottle of Goo Gone, and that sticker is history. I found it a little strange myself. Maybe I should have told him the election was already over. His side lost.

At about $300,000 each (external link), that's a pricey tow car & he's got a much bigger pair than I do! :D

I hear ya! But if he's got three, even if they are non-original, I doubt money is not a worry to the man haha.

Thats an awesome car, Ive yet to ever see one close up in person.

You're right. I did not ask him to open the hood. The guy was having breakfast and reading the newspaper. I felt I was imposing just by asking permission to take these photos.

Whatever he has under the hood is fairly radical. I've heard it idle, and it sounds pretty racy. If it's not a hemi, it's a strong motor, one way or another. I don't know this guy at all, and wouldn't ask him to show me the engine unless he volunteered.

I followed this guy for a while one day, and noticed he shuts it off at red lights. I don't know if it's an overheating issue, fear of gunking up the engine with prolonged idling, or just saving gas.

Sounds like the tuning is allowing the intake to load up with raw gas at too long of an idle so he does a shut down to keep from gunking up the plugs. Lower idle circuits need to be modified, if this is the problem. Hard to correct sometimes with a radical camshaft.

Not sure why, but I wouldn't have felt the need to ask him. I mean, anyone who drives a car like that wants people to take pictures of it.

Nice job with the view camera.

When I was a kid (some 38 years ago) I used to see one of these in a store parking lot all the time. It was green and I thought the fin was the coolest thing in the world. I would always go over to it and drive my toy cars all over the side of it as my mother and I walked past it.

Great find!

This is NOT a Superbird! Dodge/Plymouth had two similar cars. Dodge had the Daytona Charger and Plymouth ahd the Superbird. two different cars with tall wings and sharp pointy noses. FWIW, back in 1971 when I was a snot nosed brat, down the street a group of 3 or 4 sailors rented a house and one of the guys had a 1970 Roadrunner with a 383 Magnum and air grabber hood, Vitamin C orange. In his garage he had in plastic wrap the sharp pointy "Daytona" nose and the wing brand new and painted to match just in case" he ever wanted to install them.
