My wife has done some research on the new CF and SD wireless memory cards. They will transmit directly to your computer, flickr or other photo sharing websites directly from your camera while you shoot.

I don't own a wireless transmitter and I shoot tethered in the studio so I was thinking that for studio shoots it might be worth having. Just not sure if the data rates are good enough to switch from being tethered.

Anyone see these or use them? http://www.eye.fi/ (external link)

I don't think that eye fi makes CF cards, only SD

Not seeing it listed on their site. I have used the SD card version in an SD-CF adapter. It worked, within its limits. But then I don't have a lot of use for that particular functionality.

I think it would be really neat to have, a little pricey for how much I'd use it though.

X2 on CF, I've never heard/seen an eye-fi in CF which always made me wonder, with the larger physical size of a CF I always figured it be easier to stuff wireless in there

Maybe I'm wrong. I don't see the Cf either but my wife did the research and I swear she said there was CF versions. I will look into it and get back to you

I looked into it, but the cost is too much for what it's worth. Can get a SD card for cheap these days.
