I have been appointed as the media liaison to the major North American paintball league (pspevents.com) and I am looking for media or photo bibs to distribute to our photographers. I have seen photographers wearing media or photo vests at major sporting events and I am looking for a place to purchase these. I have been unable to find a supplier for these, anyone have any suggestions?

Are you looking for the standard reflective vests that's custom printed or a simple 1 color vest? Personally, I think the reflective "road crew" vests would be ideal. Just my personal opinion of course.

Personally, as photographer, I think this is far from ideal. Why? Simply because you have sometimes bunch of other shooters in background, and there's nothing looking more beautiful then background full of ****ty neon orange/green vests.
It depends what you really want. Easiest solution is local tailor shop to make you vests and local print company to print stuff on it. Easy, fast and cheap. Other then that, most companies doing racing bibs can do photo bibs too. But normally they don't like to hear about orders reaching whole 5 pieces. And on top of that, it's quite expensive.
Even on big events (World cup, World championships, Olympics etc.) there's many things which go under "photo bibs". They can be arm/leg bands (external link), real bibs (external link) (or this (external link)) similar to racing bibs, old style bib (external link)s, or in worse case, yes even those crappy reflective vests.

PS: I hope photos work for you :)
