I will be doing my first set of portraits soon and I was wondering if I should go ahead and start watermarking, and if so, what can I use to do it?!

It is a personal prefence. If you are putting them online for persons to view and then order from, I would recommend that you watermark them. I put a low opacity watermark across the middle of the image as well as my identity and the © in the lower right corner.

There has been many threads on watermarking (in the RAW and Post Processing forum) that have great resources on what the various members use to facilitate this. I'd suggest spending some time there reading. I have posted in many of these and I use a photoshop action that will do multiple locations on the image if that is what I want at the time.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
