Olympic Skeleton Race

Was at the Skeleton race tonight in which Canada won gold in Whistler!! Here are a few shots that I have processed so far. These were shot with my 7D and 70-200 f/4 at iso ranges 1250 - 3200. Again just a lowly spectator hanging my camera out over the track.

I played with some simple PP on it for you.


Canon 5D MK2 with grip,7D w/grip,G1x,300mm 2.8is, 35 1.4L, 24-70 2.8II, 85 1.8, 70-200L 2.8 is, 100L macro, 2x& 1.4 tele, canon pro9000 printer, 600ex-rt,580ex 2 flash, macro flash

Awesome images imho. Have never heard of this sport, but would like to see one up close and try to capture it like you did. Again awesome!

These are good moments, good captures, but were they underexposed a bit straight out of camera? I ask only because they seem a bit noisy.

That caught my eye a bit too. I'd be curious to see what the setup is like. I'm not saying you shouldn't be doing that, but I can see some glove-wearing spectator dropping a camera (or anything, really) onto the track quite easily.
