GEAR / FEEDBACK

A week and a day ago, I decided to visit the Occupy Portland, OR "camp" before the announced shut-downs occured. It was cold and rainy all afternoon, so instead of staying for the midnight "deadline" I began trekking toward home as it got darker.

Wet, cold and with no tripod and such, I tried to squeeze out some photos:

Heh! The streets were kept pretty "unoccupied" most of the time! A bit to the left was where the camp had taken over maybe three city blocks of parks and squares:

That evening (last Saturday night) about 4,000 people had rallied in the face of the police shutdown announced for midnight, but like I said I had headed home...
