I don't think stars have to be that in focus to look good in such a shot, and because you've got such a nicely lit fireground you want that to be in focus instead really, which you've done. Canon EOS 450D, Sigma 18-200mm, Canon 50mm f/2.5 Macro, 2x TC, Revelation 12" f/5 Dobsonian, Mintron PD2285-EX webcam.
