Great shots, Dave. Really nicely done. I'd be curious of your 'keeper rate' with the Bigma as well. It sounds like you need to pick up a monopod to help you avoid forgetting your tripod.

a monopod is a good idea and something I will look into. As for keeper rate, I took less than 60 shots all day....I think the exact figure was 58. I took more of the tiger than anything else, probably about 25 shots. Most of those were ok, but the BG was more of an issue on some of them. I struggled more with the leopard as the light had got even worse by the time I got to him, you can see from the EXIF that the shutterspeed was not good for hand holding!Here is another similar tiger shot from the same batch. As I said before, considering the weather I thought the Bigma did very well and in brighter conditions it would have produced even better results I would have thought.
