7D grip - battery charging question

Can you charge them while there in the grip ?
or do you have to charge one at a time with the charger.

Like with every Canon battery: in the charger, one at a time unless you have a second charger.

Why? When you use the camera on one battery, the other is charging. Then you exchange them, and eventually you have both charged (except for what you used from the first, when you charged the second.

And when you finally have both in the grip, charge will only be drawn from one until both batteries are at the same charge. From there, they will discharge equally (per the manual).

Can't you get the cheap opteka charger for $20 and charge them at the same time?

It also comes with an extra battery but it won't display any battery info on the camera...
