I would love to hear what you think of the shot...

Excellent shot, I'd be worried about somewhat grabbing my camera :D

I know that the horizon is good against the sky but I wonder how it would look with the horizon corrected to the beach?

Love the shot. my only complaint would be how far you two are from it but thats just a taste thing. Other than that its beutiful. Here is a shot i set up for my freind to shoot of my girlfiend and myself as an example of what i mean.

What did you do a sprint to get that far away before the timer went off?

Payton, yeah, I'm a pretty fast dude... 10-second timer, about 500 feet. Thank God it was a silhouette because I was dying when I got there!

Viper, yeah, I know what you mean about it being so far, but I wanted to get the palm tree, sunset and us all in one shot. I like that we aren't the main focus of the shot but just a part of the whole scene. Don't get me wrong, I love your shot as well, just a different viewpoint.

Merlin, not sure what you mean about the horizon corrected to the beach.

hahaha, that's what i was thinking. if someone grabbed an unattended camera on a tripod on the beach, they'd have a good head start on you if they started running. ;)

I wasn't worried at all. He'd have to be pretty fast to get away with my equipment! That and we were only one of a couple on the beach at that time. Haha!
