I made a brief trip the the Lehigh Valley Zoo this past weekend. I was there to inquire, but of course I had to bring my camera too. :D It was very sunny and the ground was still heavily covered in snow so a lot of my pictures were off due to harsh lighting and blown out areas. Also, there were some bad unsupervised kids throwing snow balls at the animals (yes, into the enclosures) and running around with sticks. But otherwise it was a nice trip.

#3 is just too good. You got some very good positions, how close were you when these shots were taken?

Thank you! I was about 10-15ft away through glass. There is a small alcove with river rocks, where the otters took refuge from the kids. Their enclosure is surrounded by water with an island in the middle and on the backside of the island is a huge rock/hill that partially obscures the view. Behind the rock is a quiet viewing area with a big glass wall. I knelt there to get the pictures at full zoom. Also, the pictures are full size, uncropped.
