I am still learning the ropes..... I just got a Celestron Nexstar 6se recently. I figured I would try to learn astrophotography to go with my other photography.

I used a combination of the telescope and a Canon 7d. Some through the scope and some thru either a 100-400 mm lens or 24-70mm lens.

I would like to try M42..any tips?

Pleaides above the moon.

That picture of the moon is great. I've tried to take a shot like that but have had no luck yet. But I'm still trying.

Thanks Moldman.

I was able to achieve focus thru the "live" view zoomed in. Man the moon seems to move so fast.

Haha yeah I noticed too that the moon can really haul while zoomed in at 10x, and then the vibrations are really magnified!
