Very Weird. I doubt the production line would know in advance where the camera will be sold. Once ready to be boxed for overseas shipment, manuals are added and might be tailor made, but it would be hard to imagine that language would be an afterthought once the camera was assembled and finished. What does the manual say in selecting language? What does Canon say?
