Workflow question for NR and Sharpening

I usually develop Raw images in Lightroom and take care of 90% of my adjustments there. If more advanced editing is needed I use PSE 8.0. For some reason, I find the noise reduction and sharpening sliders in lightroom not as effective as in PSE. Am I alone in this thought? Do you guys use lightroom for your sharpening and noise redcution?

I typically do my NR and sharpening in Lightroom, and having the adjustment brushes to do this selectively is a big boost, but that is for my initial output, which is for Web use and such. For special needs (like giving someone a high resolution shot) and especially for large prints, I wouldn't hesitate to send a file through Photohop or an NR plug-in if it made a noticeable difference, but for the smaller stuff my workflow preference is to avoid the "baggage" of PS generated tiff copies and such.

Depends. If the image is already edited in LR2 and I think it is "good enough", I use it as-is.
If I decide it's not good enough, I either use DPP, or set sharpening / NR to zero in LR2 and do that in PSCS4. If the image is for big-ish prints, I tend to do the sharpening in PSCS4 anyhow (so, set to 0 in LR2).

LR3 seems to be quite a bit better in this respect. (Not that hard)
