Folks,
I apologize if this topic has been beaten to death in this forum, but I couldn't find any related to it. I am new to the world of flash photography and was wondering if there are any good resources, both online and print format, that will point me in the right direction to take better pictures with flash.

BTW, I am using a 430 EXII with a 50D.

Thanks in advance!
Vinay

Just get on youTube, search for strobist, ocf, or flash. You'll find lots of stuff, some good quality, some utter horsebleep. You can tell the difference fairly quickly and its good to see how different people do it, even if it strikes you as wrong. Also look at strobist.com, planetneil.com, and lumiquest.com

Once you're comfortable with on-camera flash and want to venture out to the world of off-camera defintely check out strobist.

Keep looking in the For Sale forum and jump on a used Onelight or Strobist DVD set. Watch it and resell used and all you lose is the shipping. I think those 2 sets helped me the most but I have found all sorts of great things on youtube.
